Effect of Research Training Environment on Doctoral Students’ Research Intentions

The research training environment (RTE) is an important factor for enhancing doctoral students’ intentions (RI). This study aims to develop and validate the casual relationship model of RTE RI, mediated by self-efficacy (RSE) engagement (RE), examine differential effects in years 1-3 program. sample consisted 246 students their program, with respondents randomly selected from 13 universities Thailand. Data were collected via questionnaire analyzed using integrated generalized structured component analysis (IGSCA) multigroup analysis. findings have shown that there was no mediation effect RE or RSE between RI first year.
